SPECIAL HAPPENINGS HOLIDAY PARTY – Potluck Dinner Sunday, December 4, 2005 (Dinner Commences at 6:45pm) Centerville Community Center – 3355 Country Drive, Fremont (between Fremont and Paseo Padre Parkway) Come One, Come All and enjoy some camaraderie and a Pot-Luck dinner! Each person attending should plan to bring a dish to serve about eight people and the choice could be one of the following: If you last name starts with A-M please bring either an Entrée or Dessert If your last name starts with N-Z please bring either a Salad or and Entrée Bring your own beverages (ice and glasses will be provided) Once again, we will repeat our traditional “White Elephant” gift exchange. Each person who wishes to participate in the gift exchange is asked to bring a wrapped gift. (This gift is generally something you have personally enjoyed over the years but are now ready to pass on to a new owner.) Game rules will be explained that evening. Please stay and enjoy the fun even though you may not wish to participate in the game! (This party replaces the December club meeting.) WANTED - Volunteers - men and women to help with the CINDERELLA T.R. BIKE ROADEO AND SKILLS EVALUATION We are planning a ride for volunteers from noon to ? This ride will have T, M, B, and F options and give our volunteers a chance to get some exercise after helping with the various stations and bike checking options. (brakes, chains, gears, tire changing etc) . We will have coffee and some snacks. of course. Please call Florence at 510-651-1411 if you can help at this event 8 a.m. to about 11:30 or so. FFBC Committee For New Jersey Design Anyone interested in joining Mary Lou Hicks, Simone Archer and Molly Michelfelder in designing a potentially new and colorful FFBC jersey? You are welcome to participate and give us your input. Our first meeting will not be until after the first of the New Year but please let me know if you would like to be part of this creative design group. Our design and committee report will be presented to the general club membership for a final vote and approval. We are hoping to have a new club jersey by the fall of 2006.
