FFBC Club Meeting Minutes–March 2, 2006
Location: REI
Time: 7:30 PM

New Members and Guests
New members and guests introduced themselves.

Minutes
February meeting minutes were accepted.

Race Team
Richard Brockie reported that Chris Coble crashed and broke a finger.
The team is exploring a new criterium course and will report back to the club.
The club has purchased the domain name ffbc.org, and it is up and running.

Ride Coordinator
Ron Mitchell asked for input for the April ride calendar.

Treasurer
Sydney Friedenberg gave the treasurer’s report. The club has received almost 100 Primavera registrations.

Clothing Sales/Member Outreach
Molly Michelfelder reported that new club clothing is available. Cinderella training riders have purchased a number of clothing items.

Molly sent Louis Friedenberg a card after his shoulder surgery.

East Bay Bicycle Coalition (EBBC)
John Goeschl was part of a group that tested stairway ramps at BART. It appears that BART will go ahead with installing the ramps. Part of BART’s parking revenue will be used to pay for the ramps.

Membership
Dave Ransom reported that the club had cleared 350 members to date.

Cyclepath
Joel Davis, proprietor of Cyclepath, spoke to the club. Cyclepath has 600 bikes in stock. Cyclepath will offer club members a standing discount of 10% off MSRP on bikes and a discount of at least 15% on most merchandise. There will be closeouts for club members only. The store offers free bike fits anytime during non-summer months. Cyclepath hosts a Tuesday night mountain bike ride.

Primavera
Sally Wilson reminded club members that the Primavera is seven weeks away. Club members should volunteer rather than riding.

Barbara Fitzgerald, the food coordinator, and Sally will ask Cinderella training riders to start baking cookies for the Primavera. Barbara wants more bread, 60 loaves instead of 45, this time.

The club needs someone to take charge of Primavera registration at Logan.

Program
Brad Baldwin presented slides of a number of FFBC rides as well as some from the recent ATOC race.
