Last Season Cindy Rides from my hard disk
The Grizzly Peak Ride, by Anne Hollingsworth
May 7, 2006: The top of Mama Bear with the San Pablo Reservoir behind us. The ladies are Renee Rosado, Anne Hollingsworth, Connie Nelson, and Pat Wai. We only had three more climbs to go to be at the finish!

The top of the McEwen Road (big climb) with Connie Nelson, Anne Hollingsworth, and Renee Rosado. The ladies were all smiles, as we all were at the top of the hardest climb of the ride (with 10-20% grades).

Cinderella 2007 Training Ride Leaders Needed
We are asking for women volunteers to lead the FFBC 2007 Cinderella training rides. They start January 13, 2007 and continue until the official Cinderella ride on March 31, 2007. To be a ride leader you need to be a current FFBC member but you do not register for the Cinderella training ride or pay the fee.
We are also asking for trainee ride leaders. If you have ridden the Cinderella training rides for two or three years and would like to try being a leader we will team you with a couple of the experienced ride leaders. You also would not pay the Cinderella training ride fee or register as a participant.
If you are an advanced Cinderella training rider we will not have advanced rides this year. Please consider being a ride leader instead and ride the FFBC Progressive ride series to get advanced rides in.
If you can not commit to leading rides for three months we need substitute ride leaders. Substitute ride leaders also do not register or pay the fee and can join in the training rides. However, when asked to lead, substitute ride leaders would need to lead at the requested ride level (up to their ability) instead of riding with their group that day.
If you are interested please contact Jean O’Donnell at JeanOD213@aol.com or phone 510/791-2944. Please indicate the level (Beginner 9mph, Advanced Beginner 10-12mph, Intermediate 13-14mph, or Advanced Intermediate 14-15mph). If you want to team up as a leader with another person please let me know. Otherwise, I will assign teams with a goal of two experienced leaders and one trainee to lead a group of about 10 riders. Hopefully, the teams of leaders can be formed very early and we can have meetings before the January training rides start.
Since the training is geared to riding the official Cinderella ride, it would be nice of leaders to encourage their riders to join with them in signing up for and riding the Cinderella ride together. Then celebrate!
PLEASE NOTE THIS CHANGE:
