CALL TO ORDER
Jeff Girard called the meeting to Order. 
New Announcements:  Welcome new Club Members – Dan Grimes
Club Report:  Dave Ransom – currently 291 Members
New Club website - Online Membership.
Race Team Meeting – Chipotle
Jean O’Donnell Treasury report – expense Review
Website completion final approval – completion scheduled Nov. 15th.
Board: Special Meeting approval for 2008-2009

REPORTS
Treasurer:  Jean O’Donnell reported bank account balances

Race Team:  Race Team Training Rides Posted – Peninsula/Niles/Big Basin

Time Trials: Bay Area Women’s Cycling.  

Ride Coordinator:  Jim Herman announcements - Annual 17 mile drive.  Organized rides low for November – need ride leaders.  December ride calendar is open.  

September Ride Leader Drawing winners:   (1) Tony Flusche    (2) Al Quintana

NEW BUSINESS

New FFBC Website: Final Draft in review.  New website completion scheduled November 15th.  The old website will be archived in case there is a future need.

Holiday Party: January or February 2009 - location TBD  

Cinderella Training 2009:  100K Classic – 9 groups Saturdays January 17th – March 28th ’09, 100 Mile Challenge Sunday’s 30 student maximum.  Jersey’s on sale $50.00 – Registration online – launch is scheduled November 10th.

Membership Renewal 2009:  Postcard renewal reminder will be mailed.   

Daryl & Sally Wilson Retirement Moving Party:  Lifetime membership was awarded Nov. 1st as a gift.  Honorary membership benefits.

Primavera 2009: Possible date change for April venue

RACE TEAM – Proposal Highlights

  1. Projected 2009 Income & Expense Budget reviewed.
  2. Team sponsorship review.
  3. $5K Donation proposed
  4. Race team budget vote proposed in December

OLD BUSINESS

New FFBC Website: Site under construction – Mark Davis & Web Developer 

Jean O’Donnell: Budget Proposal presented for 2008-2009 fiscal year.  The proposed budget was unanimously adopted by the Board.  

Primavera 2009:  Committee Chair Jan Green (No Update)

NEW BUSINESS

  1. Cinderella Training 2009: Judy Young ride coordinator – brochures distributed
  2. Jersey’s proposed available for purchase – minimum order 30 - $50.00
  3. 2 Training programs are scheduled – cost $40.00
  4. 100 students proposed goal for 100K Classic training
  5. 9-10 groups – currently 13 ride leaders and 7 subs – need additional 5 ride leaders
  6. 100 Mile challenge – Maximum 30 students – Joyce Tanaka
  7. Race team mentors proposed for support – January 10th orientation & registration
  8. Jersey & Clothing Review:
  9. General Club Meeting: December 4th
  10. Special Board Budget: meeting proposed for review and approval – Nov. 17th
  11. 2008 Holiday Party: January or February event proposed
