FROM THE SUMMIT
Our club depends on volunteers. We need volunteers to fill the following Board positions: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Ride Coordinator and Director At Large. We also need a Primavera Chair, Newsletter Editor, Membership person, Member Outreach person and a volunteer to bring refreshments to club meetings. Think about what you get out of the club. Have you made friends as a result of being a member of FFBC? Have you ridden routes you might not have found on your own? Have you ridden routes with FFBC friends that you might not want to ride on your own? Many of us get more out of the club than we put into it. We volunteer at the Primavera. However, that’s an annual event and volunteering once a year isn’t enough. Some long time members have worked tirelessly for years as club volunteers. It’s time for some of the newer members to step up. We need members to volunteer and take a more active role in leading the club. Based on your feedback, I know that many of you have good ideas for the club. Joining the Board will give you an opportunity to act on your ideas. The club can’t function without leadership. Once again, you can make a difference for our club.I’ll see you on a ride soon.
