BOARD MEETING MINUTES

FFBC BOARD MEETING

DATE:  October 7, 2010

ATTENDANCE
Gary Smith (President), Terri Yi (Treasurer), Conni Smith (Secretary), Egbert Vallecillo (Director-at-Large), Jorge Gildelatorre (Ride Coordinator) and guest, Vanessa McDonald (Membership)

CALL TO ORDER / MINUTES
Gary called the Board Meeting to order at 6:30PM and welcomed the new board members.  Minutes for September were approved.  

TREASURER REPORT
Terri reported balances for the three accounts: Bank of America checking, Bank of America CD and Fremont Bank CD.  She will post them in the Yahoo group for members to access and review. 
Terri will also post a proposed FFBC budget on the Yahoo group for member review.  The budget will be voted on by the membership at the November 4th, meeting. 
The Board discussed Terri’s findings on the need for and purchase of Director & Officer Insurance.  No decision was made at this time.

RIDE COORDINATOR
Jorge discussed the various rides planned for the day of the club picnic, October 9.  Ride leaders are still needed, but Jorge will be at the start locations with ride sheets.

MISCELLANEOUS

• Gary announced that Vicki Timmons volunteered to head up the Cinderella Training Rides.  The Primavera is still in need of coordinators.
• The Board tentatively decided to skip the December meeting, as has been the Club’s custom.
• Egbert loaned out one bicycle case to a club member for a week.

The meeting adjourned at 7:30PM.

FFBC GENERAL MEETING

CALL TO ORDER / MINUTES
Gary Smith called the General Meeting to order at 7:35PM.  The meeting minutes for September were approved.  There were very few attendees.  New first time attendees, Sarah & Billy Prelutsky were introduced.

MEMBERSHIP REPORT
Vanessa McDonald reported the number of members and memberships.  

RIDE COORDINATOR
See Board Meeting Minutes above.  Al Quintana won the September Ride Leader Incentive Drawing.

MISCELLANEOUS
