FROM THE SUMMIT

The Cinderella Training rides began last month.  I want to thank all the volunteers who showed up for the Rodeo on the first day.  The Rodeo was very efficient, and we finished ahead of schedule.  It was a sunny day, and some of us enjoyed a ride afterwards.  Valley Spokesmen received 8,000 requests for Cinderella entry forms.  I hope all of our riders sent their entries in early so they can participate in the Cinderella.

The Progressive Ride Series is underway.  These rides help our members prepare for challenging events later in the year.

The racing season has begun.  FFBC Race Team members, including a growing number of juniors, have participated in Early Bird races.  The professional road racing season also began recently.  Versus covered the Santos Tour Down Under, Lance Armstrong’s last professional road race.  Road racing fans will be happy to know that Versus and Universal are covering quite a few events this year.
