FROM THE SUMMIT Hello Freewheelers On September 11th our club is holding elections for the 2013 FFBC Board. Our club depends on volunteers and there are still Board positions that have not been filled, specifically the position of secretary. Please consider filling a position on the board and attend the Board Elections on the 11th at 7:30pm. The elections will be held at 3375 Country Dr., Fremont, CA 94536, which is the Fremont Community Activities Center, next door to the Centerville Community Center. Another thing you might consider as a way to help out your club is by leading rides. It’s a fun way to give back to the club that gives us all so much enjoyment! A bonus to this is that each month, ride leaders for that month are entered in a drawing at the board meeting for prizes. It’s a Win-Win situation! Time with friends, time on a bike, coffee, exercise, you pick the ride, you might win a prize…Fantastic! Now just send in that submission form for October! Saturday, October the 13th is a day to save on your calendar because the FFBC Picnic is coming. It will be held at Quarry Lakes this year and catered by Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. There will be rides organized to start and end at the location with more information to be provided next month. Hope to see a big group of you there, because I plan to bring my camera! Happy Riding!
