Ride Coordinator
Vanessa discussed the sock incentive program for ride leaders.  She will send a message to club members that have earned socks for leading a ride and coordinate their distribution.  The inventory will be checked and could be supplemented with unsold Primavera socks if needed.
Vanessa mentioned that the LAP rides at a T-M pace (led by Cindy Maxwell) are a success and have a high attendance.  The board discussed having the series repeat in the future and proposed a repeating T-M pace ride be added to the monthly calendar beginning in April.  The Portola Loop was selected and it will start at Don Edwards and can be done either CW or CCW.

UPDATE: Vanessa sent a message to the list asking eligible riders to contact her with their “sock status” and has started delivering them.

Treasurer’s Report
Terri reviewed the current financials and handed out the register report for February.  She stated Bank of America reimbursed us for the fraudulent transactions. A notarized document was required ($10 cost).

Business
Donations Board members concurred no one had contacted them to be on the Donations Committee.  Discussion ensued with how to best create the committee.  Lori Sommer volunteered to chair the committee and find four volunteers to create a list of donations to be presented to the board and after approval, subsequently voted on by membership.
Meeting Snacks Terri stated we have enough in the budget to provide snacks for the General Meetings to encourage attendance.  Vanessa brought snacks for the March meeting.  Ron Mitchell volunteered to bring snacks for the remaining monthly meetings.
Audit The Board discussed having the club’s accounting books audited.  In the past, the VP did this.  Terri feels it is important to have this done to protect the club and the treasurer.  Ken agreed to have this completed just before the end of the fiscal year.  There was discussion that the audit requirement be added to the Constitution/By-laws as appropriate.
Constitution/By-laws The board discussed and agreed to review these club documents (found on the web page under the member services tab) and bring and clarifications or changes to the April Board Meeting for further discussion.
FFBC Jerseys The poll to obtain information on jersey sizes to be ordered will be closed.  Vanessa will send out a reminder to club members.  The jersey order with Primal will be scaled based on the poll results.  A coordinated arm warmer order was discussed with members agreeing it was a good idea.  Marcella agreed to prepare a few simple designs for Board review.  They may be ordered at the same time if the board agrees on a design.
Thank you Gary agreed to send email on behalf of the Board thanking various committee chairs, planning committees and ride leaders for their service to the club.

The meeting adjourned at 7:30pm The next Board and General Meetings will be held on Tuesday, April 9.

FFBC GENERAL MEETING

Several members were in attendance at the General Meeting that began at 7:31PM.
January meeting minutes were approved.

Gary led the meeting. Chris presented the race team results.  Terri provided the balances in the club’s accounts.  Vanessa discussed the calendar and the newly added repeating Portola Loop ride.  The winners of the monthly ride leader incentive award are Kevin McDonnell (for January) and Cindy Maxwell (for February). They will each receive a $25 gift card to The Bicycle Garage. Ron mentioned that the bicycle carriers are available for members to use and to send an email to reserve them.

Vanessa brought The Triplets of Belleville, an animated film about a Tour de France cyclist kidnapped by the mafia and the adventurous grandmother (and her dog) that attempts to rescue him.

Vanessa provided cookies, popcorn and drinks.  There was a good laugh when everyone thought Vanessa had brought a big bowl of potatoes too.  It turned out they were part of a St. Patrick’s celebration in the classroom where the meeting was held.

General Meeting was adjourned at 9:10pm.
