Bridge in Bern

After getting folding Bike Fridays in 2005, Larry and Joan Roe started traveling overseas with the Bicycle Adventure Club.  They had heard about the club from members of the Valley Spokesmen Bicycle Club.  Since then they have participated in 11 overseas tours and 5 tours in the US and Canada.

Bicycle Adventure Club is a non-profit organization/club where the rides are planned and run by the members.  Because of this their tours are much less expensive than commercially organized trips.  The expenses end up being the actual cost of the van rental, hotels, most meals (at group rates), happy hour - drinks and snacks, and the expenses of the leader and the van driver.

The last trip Larry and Joan went on was to the Swiss Lakes in June of 2013.  This trip lasted 2 weeks and the final cost was $ 2,275 per person not including air travel.  For more information http://www.bicycleadventureclub.org/html/
