Tuesday - Thursday Night Training (TNT)
Tuesday Night Training:  Meet at 6:30 PM at the Club Sport parking lot for a local ride and workout.
Thursday Night Training as always at 6:30 PM on Eureka off Stevenson in Fremont.

Looks like the off-season weekend team training rides will be on Sundays to allow for other ride options on Saturdays.

Treasurer’s Report
Terri discussed the latest FFBC financial picture.  Most of the recent month’s income is from clothing sales ($3360).  The club purchased 200 jerseys and approximately 80 jerseys have been sold. 
Terri has also researched the club Certificate of Deposits.  We currently have two CD’s at two separate banks.  She recommended that the board consider having both CD’s at the same bank.
Terri also suggested that we purchase an additional key for the P.O. Box.  Currently the club has keys for the treasurer and pedal pounder representative.  She would like to purchase a third key for the Primavera contact.

General Business
The board discussed ideas for upcoming general meeting presentations. 
Gary presented information on A.B. 666 that he received from Ty Trumbo of the Traffic Safety Coalition.  We were asked to support the bill and the board decided to stay neutral.
Meeting adjourned at 7:23pm.

The next Board and General Meetings will be held on Tuesday, October 8th.

FFBC GENERAL MEETING

There was no meeting minutes from the August board meeting.

Terri discussed the latest FFBC financial picture.  Chris delivered Race Team Report including Race Team election results.  Ron reported that one carrying case is being used.

Lori Sommer presented the recommendations from the FFBC donation committee to the general members.  The donations request was unanimously approved.  1st Motion Connie, 2nd Motion Terri.

NOTE 1:  Split between local and general fund (local fund may be used to fund Bicycle Safety Class in Fremont)
NOTE 2:  Donation to Cycling Club via Newark Jr. High School/PTA, after receipt of fund request by club advisor, Mark Dieter

FFBC Picnic will be Saturday, October 19th.
WHERE: Quarry Lakes Regional Park (North Esperanza Pavilion)
TIME: Plan to eat at 12:30 pm

**An email closer to the picnic date will ask for a headcount.
Gary mentioned that some FFBC riders met a San Marcos, Texas cyclist before the monthly Calaveras ride who provided them with a music CD.  The CD consists of a collection of songs about cycling made by cyclists for cyclists.  If you are interested, go to the following website:  www.sanmarcoscycling.com
