Meeting called to order by Gary Smith at 6:48PM. The agenda was distributed. Ron Mitchell brought and setup refreshments.
Meeting Minutes
Gary asked if there were any questions or changes needed on the November minutes – none were brought up. They were approved.
Race Team Report – Chris Menicou
Chris presented the Race Team Report. He supplied that later by email for insertion into the minutes below. He highlighted some key points:
- Team had come good finishes on the Mt Bruno Hill Climb on Jan 1st.
- We are two weeks into the Early Bird Season. Races being held every Sunday into February. At Dumbarton Circle, Fremont. All members invited to attend – should be entertaining. There are 25-50 riders in the Pro races.
- Reminding everyone of the Tuesday and Thursday night training.
- Also note that the off-season weekend team training rides have been moved from Sunday to Saturday to not conflict with the Sunday Early Bird races

- Training and Event Update
- Tuesday Night Training (TNT): Meet at 6:30 PM at the Club Sport Fremont parking lot for a local ride and workout.
- Thursday Night Training (TNT): Meet at 6:30 PM on Eureka off Stevenson in Fremont.
- Off-season weekend team training rides have moved to Saturdays to allow for Early Bird racing participation on Sundays through January.
o Saturday Jan. 18th – Time Trial training on Calaveras
o Jan. 25 – Hop Ride Danville
o Feb. 8 – Spectrum Ride - Sunnyvale
o Feb. 15th – ‘Diablo Attack’ Annual Mt. Diablo team hill climb.

New Ride: was done 12/31 – CCW Calaveras starting in Niles. Conni to lead after recovery.
There is one fixed ride every weekend.

No news. No one borrowing cases.
Treasurer’s Report - Julia:
Reviewed expense report for Nov and Dec.
Just starting to get Primavera and Membership income.
Budget and Expenses to Cinderella lower due to restructuring of the program (open training).
Main expense in Dec – annual donation to Bike Team
Membership – Becky Denevan:
Becky will get a list of early registrants together for the next meeting. Others are gathering prizes. There will then be a drawing at the meeting for the winners of the prizes.
Approx. 180 early registrants
By year end there were approx. 208 memberships and approx. 294 members (members number is greater than memberships because of family memberships)
Still issues with definition that family should not include childen older than 18 yrs old. Bylaws say it is OK. For this to officially go into effect must have a vote to change the bylaws.
There are other updates queuing up for the bylaws – Gary will get the list together for review at a future meeting.
Mark and Becky working on database issues that came up around family memberships.
General Topics - Gary:
Meeting Program (movies, presentations, etc.): See how it goes tonight. Chris has a list of movies to continue with, if desired.
Suggestion came up for a presentation of the Montana Trip

The Board Meeting was adjourned at 7:30PM. Ron M motioned for adjournment and Chris M seconded it.
FFBC GENERAL MEETING
Meeting opened at 7:35PM.
Asked if there were any changes or corrections to the November minutes. No issues.
Membership – Becky Denevan
Becky noted that there were approximately 204 memberships and 294 members as of 12/31.
Becky brought membership envelopes to meeting for anyone present to pick up. The rest will be mailed after the meeting.
Race Team Report – Chris Menicou
Chris presented the Race Team Report, which is inserted in the board meeting minutes above.
Treasurer’s Report - Julia
Handed out Treasurers report for Nov & Dec
Income: Primavera ($6600), Jersey’s ($700), Membership ($3790), totaling almost $12,000.
Expenses: Primavera, Storage, and 2013 donations (finished up last year’s donation) , totaling almost $13,000.
Ride Coordinator – Vanessa
Lots of rides for Jan, Feb and Mar.
M-B PR going to 100 mi, starting Sunday to Alum Rock Park
T-M LAP going to 100K; started last weekend
T-M Cinderella – 2 Groups
Beginning woman only - fee
Returnees and others for conditioning – no fee
Drawing for $25 gift certificate for Ride Coordinator. The winners are:
