Treasury Report – Julia
The club got a thank you from Abby Mohaupt of Costa Sur in Pescadero, CA (mypuente.org) for the bike safety equipment we donated thru the Niles Church.
Gave a summary of the account balances. Details can be found in the on-line site for club members only. The main financial activities have been selling T-shirts, pizza rides, web expenses and meeting room rental.
Louis Friedenberg is doing a financial review of the FFBC books. He will meet with Julia to sort out any questions and details.
Julia put in an ad into Cycle California for the Primavera. Because of that they will distribute flyers to all the local bike shops. It was felt this was a very good value.
Ride Coordinator – Vanessa
September is shaping up to be a good month – there is a larger variety of ride leaders as well as more rides.
Pedal Pounders: Robin O’Hara to take over. Still sorting out details with Conni.
Ride leader incentives: Vanessa likes the idea of a “gift” (coffee, etc.) for a ride. Vanessa has suggested a pilot program for 3 months, starting in September. Vanessa will send a list of leaders at the end of each month. The suggestion is a $4 gift for each ride. To be continued via email.
General Discussion - Gary
Club Picnic – Becky Denevan will take over as picnic organizer. Historically the picnic has cost about $13.95 per person. Last years picnic cost about $2000. For this year it will be free for Primavera volunteers, and for others: Adults $6 and children $4.
