Main expenses this last month were for the donations approved by the donation committee. There was an additional expense for property taxes for the Community Ed room.
Some income was generated with Terry selling jerseys.
Not many new members this month but that is typical for later in the year.
Budget discussion – it should be held at the next meeting with the new board members and be presented at the November meeting.
Andy Sass has asked if specific donations could be made for the Primavera ride. The FFBC Donations Procedure and Guidelines state that all donations will be recommended by the donation committee and then voted on by the club. The request should be brought up first with the Donations Committee.
Discussion about monetary reserve. Should be brought up with the new Board.
A suggestion was made and well received to setup a Pizza “General Meeting” every quarter to generate more attendance. That will probably happen at the November meeting based on further discussion at the Oct meeting.

Ride Coordinator – Vanessa
Pedal Pounders: Robin O’Hara to take over. Still sorting out details with Conni.
Ride leader incentives: It was agreed unanimously that a pilot program will be setup for 3 months, starting in September. The ride coordinator will send a list of leaders at the end of each month. The suggestion is a $4 gift for each ride.

General Discussion - Gary
Newsletter – Marcella would like to shed some or all of all her responsibility on the newsletter and is looking for someone to take over – particularly the “member spotlight.” Gary will send out an email looking for volunteers.
Club Picnic – New date is Oct 18.
New Fremont Bike store: Gary was contacted by the owner. Gary will invite the owner to make a presentation at a future meeting. They specialize in folding and commuter bikes. The store is:
