Meeting called to order at 6:30 PM.

More good news on the race team activities. Over the last four weeks lots of race team members placing in top 10, one member had a bad crash. There are now 75 members on the race team , 18 women and 16 juniors.
Chris reviewed the following team results and provided the complete results later by email. This is for the last four weeks.

2.  Training and Event Update

  1. Tuesday Night Training (TNT):  Meet at 6:15 PM at the Club Sport Fremont parking lot for a local ride and hill climbing workout.
  2. Thursday Night Training (TNT): Meet at 6:15 PM on Eureka off Stevenson in Fremont for 4-corner Criterium workouts.

4.  Team Target Events:

  1. Red Kite Omnium Event #12 – Criterium, August 9th
  2. San Ardo Road Race – August 22nd
  3. Giro di San Francisco Criterium – September 7th (final target event for 2015)

  1. There are 75 Race Team Members for the 2015 season roster. 18 are Ladies 16 are Juniors

One case is going out in the next month. Usage is going up so reserve the bike cases early if you need them.

Ride Coordinator – Dave Fishbaugh
Ride leader party was a success – 40 attendees – looking at January 31st for next party. Gave lots of “Thank You’s” to people who help make the club a success, both past and now! Handed out Ride Leader Certificates! People really enjoyed the party.
Round Table Pizza in Newark was very accommodating and friendly.  Good size room, recommend returning for another party at this location.
RL Party came in under budget.  Less than $500 for 40 people.  55 Ride Leaders led rides.
Jim Takasugi no longer helping with ride leader coordination.  He did a great job and implemented moving all documents to Google Drive.  He will be missed!
Vanessa, and Jay Gilson will assist as needed with the ride leader calendar.
Portola Loop Ride – difficulty getting Ride Leaders – transition Cinderella Riders to Ride Leaders with this ride? 3rd Saturday each month.
Mike Northrup left area and regular riders took over his rides on Monday so those rides will continue.

General Discussion
Club Leadership – Current Board will return for another term.  No changes for 2016 club leadership.

New Business:

Ideas for future General Meeting presentations:

Bike Idaho people – give report about event?

Dave Walker – give report about event?

Club Jerseys – Terri question – new jersey design or place minimum order (25)?  Have had the same jersey for last three years.

Cinderella Training – offer Jersey this year. Include in Cinderella registration for Coaching Group.  At least 30 jerseys to be included.  Marcella to design Cinderella Jersey for 2016.

What about a special 4th of July jersey?

Not easy to buy club clothing – could be while sales are down.

Have Terri come to September club meeting to determine sizes to order, potential new designs, and normal cycle to refresh jersey design.

Donations – 2015 - approved

Who / how much to donate to various organizations?  $2,000 allocated.

One recommendation that came in that did not have money allocated to; was to sponsor Wynn to teach a bike class.  We limited our donations to organizations.  This would be better allocated to training if desired.

School meeting space was closed.  Who normally makes meeting space reservations?  We were locked out of school and had to move meeting to Starbucks by Bicycle Garage.  Has happened twice so far this year. Club President is in charge of arranging meeting space and meeting access.  What about members, or potential members who show up and no one is there?

FFBC GENERAL MEETING

The school meeting place was closed and locked so Board and General meeting had to be moved to Starbucks near Bicycle Garage. A last minute email was sent out to notify club members of the General Meeting location change. No one showed up and since there was no special business to present to the members, it was decided to cancel the meeting.
