In loving memory of Florence Hughes Silver November 5, 1937-October 22, 2015
Long time FFBC member Florence’s boundless enthusiasm, generous spirit; love of cycling friends and family will be missed.
Florence decided to start riding again and gathered a group to join her each Monday for an easy ride around Fremont.
Coffee was always involved.

About a dozen FFBC cyclists participated in an organized bicycle tour of Tuscany from late September to early October. This proved to be a great time to be in Tuscany as the vineyards were ripe with the famed Tuscan grapes and olive trees were just starting to mature. The cycling routes were fixed based loops from the town of Marina di Castagneto Carducci on the Mediterranean coast of Italy. Each day, the riders enjoyed discovering the scenic hill towns, and tasting the local cuisine and wines.
