MARCH 6 PRESENTATION
Marvin Zauderer will give a presentation on "The 5 Core Skills of Mentally Fit Cyclists."
In his sport psychology practice, Marvin works with athletes, coaches, and teams from all sports on the mental skills needed for success. He leads the Sport Psychology program at Whole Athlete, a performance center in Marin County that provides a comprehensive set of coaching, consulting, fitting, and testing services to amateur and professional athletes around the world, particularly cyclists.
He is also a licensed psychotherapist with a private practice in San Francisco, Oakland, and Marin, USA Cycling Level 2 Coach, Masters road racer, and he writes a monthly sport psychology column for PezCyclingNews.com.

NEW FREMONT FREEWHEELER MEMBER
Jeff announced the birth of their newest Fremont Freewheeler. Katherine Jane Girard was born on February 20, 2008. She came to this world at 20 inches in length, weighing 7 lbs 6 oz. Currently she enjoys sleeping and leaving little presents in her pants for daddy. Both Chanda and Katherine are doing great.

DEPARTURE OF A CYCLING LEGEND
On February 3, 2008, the cycling community lost one of its important legend, advocate and educator when Sheldon Brown passed away due to an unexpected heart attack.
In his lifetime, his love of cycling and cycling mechanics resulted in one of the most comprehensive knowledge and databases accumulated on the topic of cycling as his legacy. He is survived by his wife, Harriet Fell, his daughter, Tova, and son, George.
