Group Riding Series
Have you ever wanted to get into group cycling but didn’t know where or how to start?
Join us for the Fremont Freewheelers Bicycle Club (FFBC’s) Training series to find the answers.
This series of fun, socially paced rides will teach you the basics of riding on city streets
- Learn group cycling essentials (ride etiquette, flat tire repair, stretching, hand signals…)
- Ride along with experienced riders who will take care of the basics — route planning, navigating…
- These are ‘no drop’ rides — no rider will be left behind in case you need help
- Build your confidence and strength to take even bigger challenges
Start Locations (start time 9:00am; roll out 9:15am):
- Oct 19: Palms Pavilion Parking Lot (Aqua Adventure) – 40500 Paseo Padre Pkwy
- Oct 26: CentriPEDAL Bikes – 3636 Thornton Ave
- Nov 2: CentriPEDAL Bikes – 3636 Thornton Ave
- Nov 9: Warm Springs Community Center – 47300 Fernald St
- Nov 16: Palms Pavilion Parking Lot (Aqua Adventure) – 40500 Paseo Padre Pkwy
The first ride is a short, flat ride gradually working up to longer rides.

Conditions:
- Appropriate for cyclists of all levels.
- Traditional bikes and e-bikes (Class 1 or 3) are allowed. Class 2 (full throttle) e-bikes are not.
- Helmets are required (please refer to Ride Information and Policies > Equipment )
- Minors under 16 must be accompanied by parents or guardians. Parent or guardian of minors under 18 must sign a waiver.
