The FFBC’s RidewithGPS club site is available. Many routes already in the FFBC Routes Library and new routes are being added. This is a really nice resource!
To go along with the information below, please read this excellent tutorial on using RidewithGPS. It describes how to setup a personal account, connecting with the club account, using the FFBC membership discount code and creating a route.
Collections (of routes) – FFBC RidewithGPS Collections
A curated collection of routes, organized by training series and weekly/monthly rides.
Note: must be viewed in a web browser. The RWGPS app does not yet show Collections.
Library (of routes) – FFBC RidewithGPS Library
All routes added under the FFBC RidewithGPS club. If you have a favorite ride you would like to contribute, contact FFBC’s Ride Coordinator to have the route added (or answer any questions).
Join RidewithGPS and the FFBC Club Account – FFBC’s RidewithGPS site
Before you become a member of the Club’s RideWithGPS account, you must have your own personal account. With your own account you will be able to create, edit and download routes, along with other capabilities.
By becoming a member of the Club account you will then get access to the club routes and collections. Along with other capabilities you will get premium privileges on those routes – i.e. you will be able to download TCX route files with turn-by-turn instructions.
After clicking on the FFBC’s RidewithGPS link (above), you will be walked thru a registration process. If you are not already a member of RidewithGPS ,you will be registered first for your personal account. When that is complete, the RidewithGPS web-site will ask you to register with the FFBC Club account. After you have finished the FFBC Club registration, you will then find our club logo on your RidewithGPS “home” page. You can click on it to get to our FFBC club routes.
Learn about RidewithGPS and its Club benefits
As a member of FFBC’s Club account with RidewithGPS, you will have RidewithGPS “premium privileges” with all routes on the club site. That means you will have voice navigation, estimated completion time, offline maps with their mobile map, advanced turn notifications, PDF maps and cue sheets (plus more).
Additional club features include setting up events and calendars, managing rides and RSVPs. We may investigate using these additional RidewithGPS features in the future.
