Mark your calendar for April 27 2014 for next year’s Primavera Century.  And circle December 1 of this year to sign up early.  Check out http://www.ffbc.org/primavera/ for more info.

The 2013 sell-out event attracted riders from as far away as Germany, UK and Japan.  The US geographies were also well represented with  riders from Hawaii,  Oregon,  Arizona, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Washington and Nevada.  Our riders’ age ranged from one year-old to 84 years-young!  There were a number of tandems and bicycles with trailers, and this is the very first year someone completed the full century on a unicycle!

We’ve received great feedback from past riders, and as a result, next year will have coffee and water at the start, and further improvements to the post-ride meal.   There were a number of other comments and suggestions, and we will work on what we can.

Weather report for the Primavera: No Rain! No Rain! No Rain!

We are thinking positive. You know how unpredictable the weather can be.  So don’t be discouraged.  Pump up your tires, clean up your chain and gears and be prepared for anything!  Along that line, we prepared some information for our Primavera riders.  If you registered, you should get a copy in your email too.  See you Sunday!  Last Minute Info For Primavera Riders

There will be no day-of registration.  Please check our Facebook page and Craigslist.com for people wishing to transfer their registration.

Due to a technical difficulty on Active.com, Primavera registration is extended one day. Online registration will close at midnight on Wednesday, April 16. We will accept mailed in registrations that are postmarked through the 16th.
