Supplemental insurance is a FFBC member benefit, we hope you never have to use it.
Insurance covers Club Rides as follows …
- FFBC members, 18 years or older, are covered for all rides (Road and Mountain Bike rides)
- FFBC members who are minors are covered for Road rides only (not Mountain Bike rides)
- Guests are covered ONLY for their first road ride of the insurance policy year (not additional rides and not Mountain Bike rides)
Note: members who have let their membership lapse by not paying their dues are guests – only one guest ride is covered under this policy.
This insurance policy DOES NOT cover special events run by FFBC. The Primavera Century has its own special event insurance policy.
This insurance policy is secondary coverage to any medical coverage the injured party already has.
Accident Medical Coverage, $10,000 per person per accident excess of a $500 per claim deductible and excess of any other valid and collectible insurance. Accidental Death & Dismemberment, $5,000 per person per accident.
Insurance policy year: starts February 1 and ends January 31 (the following year).
